奇兰香 "Rare Orchid Frangrance"
This year's introduction of Zheng Yan's Qi Lan cultivar can be experienced in an idyllic garden adjacent to the Wuyi Mountain range. Originating in Anxi, the birthplace of Tie Guan Yin, this variant was transplanted to Wuyi in the 1930s. With an exquisite aroma reminiscent of a pure orchid, its medium-to-low roasting accentuates the delightful notes of succulent tropical fruit. Each brew reveals a strikingly different layer!
Since 2017, the workshop of Ye Qitong, a renowned Intangible Cultural Tea Master, has been carefully crafting our Wu Yi Yan Cha. Ye Qitong selects the best varietals grown in Wu Yi Shan ravine, resulting in Cliff Rock Oolongs, among the finest in China. These teas are distinguished by the age of their trees and expert use of charcoal-firing techniques.
